There was a lot of information about World of Warcraft Shadowlands. But does the new WoW expansion convince you? Or are you still skeptical? Our survey aims to clarify this.
BlizzCon 2019 is now a few days behind us, and we all had the opportunity to process the numerous pieces of information about World of Warcraft Shadowlands. In addition to the stunning cinematic, there were already some insights into various systems surrounding the upcoming expansion.
In addition to the new Covenant system, the Endgame zone “The Maw” and the Tower Torghast, there were also many smaller bits of information and innovations. These included:
- New customizations for all old races
- Cool cosmetic items like wings and halos
- Return of popular abilities
- Level squish from level 120 to level 50
- Artifact power disappearing, legendaries making a return
Many of this information was well received by our readers or is being actively discussed. However, there is one question we haven’t addressed yet: How do you like World of Warcraft: Shadowlands so far?

Cortyn says: Honestly, I’m currently quite hyped about the upcoming expansion. I think it’s great that Blizzard is trying something new with the expansion and creating a completely new world connected to Azeroth. This allows for the creation of new, exciting characters and gives developers room to start many new storylines that may not be used until much later.
The cinematic was fantastic and pretty much all the information from BlizzCon makes me nod in satisfaction and appreciation. Now the expansion just has to deliver on what it promises.
The only negative aspect is that N’Zoth seems to be completely dealt with in patch 8.3. But maybe there will be a reunion when we return from the Shadowlands…
