Terminator
The Terminator series could also work well as a post-apocalyptic MMORPG. After the third world war, humans fight to destroy the machines. Players can choose to be on the side of Skynet or the resistance and must survive in many missions and battles in the destroyed ruins of cities. Perhaps the element of time travel would also be interesting and could potentially be worked in somehow.
