The popular streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek is actually less known for outbursts. But Apex Legends has now caused him to rage-quit.
What is Shroud upset about? During a match in Apex Legends, Shroud and his team engaged in a battle with an opposing group. Meanwhile, there were apparently significant lags, which allowed the opposing team to escape death and dismantle Shroud’s team.
The streamer did not handle this well, as his reaction shows: “We literally lost to these guys because of the damn lag. I’m going to break something! Holy sh…, I hate it when things are out of my control!”
Then he abruptly quit the game. You can watch the scene in the video:
This is “PUBG all over again!”
Why is this so bad? Every player who has dealt with online games knows about lags. For streamers who play such games professionally, the problem is likely more than familiar.
Shroud draws a parallel to another battle royale shooter, PUBG. After he left the match, he continued to curse: “I can’t play this until it’s fixed. It’s like PUBG all over again!”.
The BR shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is also known for its constant connection and performance issues. Shroud seems to have no nerve left for such errors and has found lags to be his kryptonite.

He is not the only one who seems to have problems with lags. Other streamers like KingRichard are also complaining about the issues.
He recommends manually selecting servers to reduce lags. We have explained in a mini-guide how you can manually change servers.
Are you also struggling with lags? They are not the only problem:
