2. Guild Wars 2 – Scarlet Briar
Who is Scarlet Briar? The Sylvari engineer Ceara is known as Scarlet Briar. She united the Shovelers and Flame Legion over several months and formed them into the fiery alliance. She combined the Nightmare Court and the Krait into the toxic alliance.
She created the Clockwork robots to raise her own army with the robots, alliances, and the Etherblade pirates to attack the city of Lion’s Arch.
There she aimed to awaken the dragon Mordremoth, who slumbered beneath the city.
What personality does Scarlet Briar have? Scarlet Briar is insane and unpredictable. She has no empathy for others and is mentally disturbed.
Why is she evil? Ceara was fascinated by knowledge. However, she believed that one should not only understand Eternal Alchemy, but also apply it. To harness this power, she entered Omadd’s machine.
In this machine, she looked directly into the Eternal Alchemy and saw various visions. These drove the already mentally disturbed Ceara into madness. The visions transformed her into Scarlet Briar.
What was her worst deed? In the first season of Guild Wars 2, she attacked Lion’s Arch with her army and a giant drill named the Bruchbringer. During the battle, the city was nearly completely destroyed. Furthermore, she managed to awaken the dragon Mordremoth.
Was she defeated? Scarlet Briar fell during the battle for Lion’s Arch. However, her death came too late, as she had previously managed to awaken Mordremoth.
