Those who venture into the crucible of Destiny 2 do not always have fun and joy. Which weapons ruin your gaming experience the most? Participate in our survey!
In Destiny 2, players can not only compete against computer-controlled opponents (PvE), but also measure themselves against human players (PvP).
Players have a variety of different modes available, and in every case, you have to rely on your weapons. Destiny 2 features an incredible amount of firearms. And exactly these weapons are a hassle for some Guardians and cause frustration.

Some weapons stand out from the wide range and seem to be present in every PvP match. Either the weapons provide unfair advantages to the bearer or they are simply significantly stronger than the competition. A perfect balance will probably never be possible.
Most Annoying Weapons in PvP
We present to you some of the most infamous guns and then want to know from you which of them annoys you the most in the crucible.
Erentil FR4
Erentil FR4 is one of the long-loading and hard-hitting representatives of legendary fusion rifles. The weapon requires special ammo and does not fire a single shot, but several energy bolts in quick succession.
With perks like ‘Under Pressure’, ‘Tap’ or “Like a Rock in a Stormy Sea”, Erentil can eliminate guardians from absurd distances. The victim is usually left stunned and can only shake their head at the fusion sniper.

The Mountaintop
The legendary top grenade launcher is carried in the kinetic slot and requires energy ammo for its projectiles. Unlike typical grenade launchers, the Mountaintop shoots a type of mini-rocket that flies in a straight line and not in a ballistic curve.
A projectile can be lethal on a direct hit. When guardians are not sniping with this grenade launcher, they are dropping proximity mines for unsuspecting guardians.
Jötunn
This exotic fusion rifle Jötunn fires a homing fireball that explodes upon impact and ignites the area. Like legendary fusion rifles, the weapon also requires special ammo.
The frustrating thing is that there is not really a need to aim. Almost like a magnet, the incendiary bomb flies towards opposing guardians. They usually stand no chance, as a hit means immediate death.
Dust Rock Blues
The legendary shotgun Dust Rock Blues (eng. Dust Rock Blues) stands as a representative for all shotguns. These weapons are named so because they do not require precise shots but unleash a hail of buckshot upon opponents. For this, shotguns require energy ammo and can be found in both energy and kinetic slots.
Shotgun users become particularly unpopular when they slide towards their opponents at full speed and take out the other guardians’ careers with a blast. A shotgun with good perks can achieve this at sometimes questionable distances.

Izanagi’s Burden
Izanagi’s Burden is the only exotic sniper in the kinetic slot. For its powerful shots, the weapon requires special ammo. The special feature of the burden is that multiple shots can be compressed into a ‘Super Projectile’.
A charged shot knocks out enemy guardians even with a body hit. Annoying for the opponent, as snipers are usually only lethal with a shot on precise headshots. Even some supers are no match for this power.
The Recluse
The Recluse is a top weapon that requires primary ammo and is carried in the energy slot. The submachine gun has a unique perk.
If you defeat an enemy player with any weapon (even with the MP itself), you have a few seconds to switch to the now significantly stronger Recluse. From then on, it does not matter whether you make head or body shots for a short time. Everything in your way will be literally wiped out.
This way, guardians chain kill after kill, much to the dismay of the opponents. The submachine gun is currently causing quite a stir due to its perk ‘Weapon Mastery’ again.
Wardcliff Coil
The exotic rocket launcher Wardcliff Coil is a power weapon and requires heavy ammo. The unique feature of this launcher is that it does not only fire a single rocket. Instead, it launches a whole swarm of explosive projectiles.
The individual projectiles are homing and can take out entire enemy teams at once. With the exotic catalyst, the target acquisition of the area bombardment is even further enhanced. Essentially, everything in front of you is flattened at the push of a button.
Choose the most annoying weapon in PvP
Which weapon regularly ruins the crucible for you? The topic is highly subjective, and every guardian has different preferences and play styles. Shotgun players complain, for example, about snipers and vice versa.
Participate in our survey and let us know which PvP weapon is currently the most annoying for you. Keep in mind that you can only cast one vote.
