To make our comment section on MeinMMO nicer for everyone, we are looking for support for our mods.
Hello dear ones! The MeinMMO team is also looking for new moderators who can actively support us and our mods (aka the coolest people on the planet).
We are looking for people who are committed to making the comment section nicer for everyone and enjoy constructive discussions.
These are your tasks
- Helping users with minor problems
- Coordination within the team and with the editorial staff via chat server
- Forwarding user inquiries and feedback to the team
- Intervening in case of violations of comment and forum guidelines, mediation role
- Handling reported users and comments
How much time is required?
It would be nice if a moderator is active in the comment area several times a week and shows presence. This does not necessarily have to happen through moderating actions, but can also be done by participating in discussions as a regular user.
Depending on your availability, it would be beneficial if a mod checks the comment section at least once a day. Checking for new messages and reports would be helpful. For this, you will get access to our backend and an introduction to the moderation system.
You do not have to be available every day from morning to evening. Communication is the key here: If you cannot moderate for a longer period for personal reasons, that is perfectly fine.
Is the work paid?
Your help would be on an unpaid, voluntary basis. However, we would be happy to offer you a subscription package from our sister sites GameStar and GamePro with the following content:
- GameStar Plus
- GameStar magazine subscription
- GamePro magazine subscription

Introduce yourself briefly, tell us where you know MeinMMO from and whether you already have experience in moderation. It is important that you mention the name and email address of your MeinMMO account in the email. We will respond to you in a timely manner.
