Yesterday, warriors in World of Warcraft were unstoppable. What was supposed to be the highlight of solo play fell within seconds.
In World of Warcraft, the Patch 11.2 Spirits of K’aresh has launched. Along with this come many new content and some bosses to conquer. For deep fans, there’s “Nexus Princess Ky’veza,” who this time is the nemesis of the depths. However, the good lady really didn’t have much to offer – at least not against warriors. They could dismantle her within seconds.
What kind of boss is this? Nexus Princess Ky’veza is the nemesis of Season 3. She is the final boss of the depths and, as in previous seasons, comes at difficulties “?” and “??”. The ?? difficulty is actually something for well-equipped characters late in the season. After all, she has 1,000,000,000 hit points, and even DPS characters struggle for a long time against that.
… or one played protection warriors, reflected a single attack, and grinned while watching Ky’veza lose almost her entire life.
Spell Reflect sends hundreds of millions of damage back
How did that work? Nexus Princess Ky’veza uses her “Nexus daggers” during the fight. These are bluish lines on the ground that deal massive damage to hit characters. For most classes, this is an “instant kill”. However, warriors have found that they can reflect the Nexus daggers. Not just one, but several of them at once. This causes Ky’veza to lose 30% – 50% of her health in one go. So you just repeat that 2-3 times, and the princess goes down. How that looked is shown in this video:
Is that still possible? No. Blizzard fixed the bug just a few hours after it became known. Now it is no longer possible to damage the Nexus Princess so massively with a reflected attack, and even warriors have to try much harder to have a chance against Ky’veza.
If you don’t know where to start with the new patch, we have 3 goals for you here.
