In Call of Duty: Warzone, there is currently a bug that can eliminate your entire team. The culprit is the event helicopters that are currently present.
This is the bug: The bug revolves around one of the 3 in-match events, which have been in the game for a few weeks now. A transport helicopter appears over Verdansk, which can be shot down and looted.
However, this helicopter does not simply spawn in mid-air. Players are dying because the helicopter suddenly appears out of the ground right in front of them.
Crazy bug can wipe out entire team
This is the bug in the video: The reddit user LostLobsters showcases the insane multi-kill in a clip:
In the video, he runs past the large dam with his teammate. While they are running, there is a loud bang, and they are both eliminated.
You can also see a transport helicopter rising from the ground and flying in the air above them. The helicopter had eliminated both players.
This is behind the bug: This error has been known in Warzone for a while. On June 29, Infinity Ward released a patch that was supposed to fix this issue.
The video shown is from July 12th. The bug still seems to be a problem in Warzone.
What do players say about it? They are quite upset. After all, Infinity Ward announced a bug fix, yet the problem still persists. This can be especially bitter when you’ve just invested in a strong setup for Warzone and suddenly get taken out by a bug.
tayzak15 writes on reddit: “I thought this was fixed in the last patch? What idiot thought this was good game design?”
WastedGiraffe_ is even more sarcastic: “This looks just as ‘fixed’ as the Burst M4 was removed from the loot pool. Incompetent Infinity Ward.”
It is not the only bug currently bothering players. A killstreak was even removed because it was too early in the match.
