What kind of operation is this? In the new mission in the successful online game Warframe, the Orphix return, a living AI. You may have heard of this if you have completed the quests on Deimos. With the operation “Orphix Venom,” you will learn more about the background of this mysterious species and must face waves of AI enemies.
Out of the Warframe, into the Mech
What is special about Orphix Venom? You leave your Warframe battle suit to slip into a Necramech. The Orphix are capable of incapacitating Warframes. Necramechs are heavy, large combat robots that you control. They operate differently than a Warframe, are slower and clumsier, but have immense firepower. With this mech, you will face wave after wave of enemies.
This gives you the chance to acquire your own Necramech, which you are allowed to customize and upgrade. With Necramechs, a new, different gaming experience in Warframe is intended, simply because the combat robots differ so greatly from the Warframes.
Before you get your own Necramech, you must acquire one of the abandoned combat robots on the battlefield.
How do the battles unfold? You will participate in several battles to earn rewards. Depending on how many enemies you can destroy in the waves, the loot will vary. This gives you the opportunity to improve your Necramech, and it is even possible to get Lavos, the newest Warframe in the game.
This one is an elementalists and can heal itself with its techniques.
When does the new operation come? The developer studio Digital Extremes has not announced a release date yet. Orphix Venom is expected to be available for PC “soon”. The console versions of Warframe will receive the operation a bit later.
