The highly anticipated Warframe expansion “The Inner War” releases today, Friday, December 9, on PS4.

However, since developer Digital Extremes wants to get the most extensive update of the year into the hands of players as quickly as possible, Xbox players will have to wait a few more days. But that’s not all. With “The Inner War”, Nightmare missions return to the star chart, where you can earn 3 new mods. In addition, you will encounter endless Void fissure missions. For example, after 2 successfully completed excavations, you can choose which reward you want to take, directly equip a new relic and continue, or finish the fissure mission.
Additionally, it will now have a direct impact on which side you choose in the invasion missions. If you help the Grineer too often, you can expect a Fomorian attack in the foreseeable future. Wraith and Vandal weapon parts, which have been available through daily mission deployments, can now be found there as rewards for supporting a faction.
And lastly, the goodies from the deployment missions and their drop rates will also be changed. Possible rewards now include Forma, 3 Nitain, large focus lenses, and the new Riven mods. These are meant to narrow the gap between high-end weapons and those that have been neglected and make them relevant again.
