In Warcraft Rumble, you can make a lot of mistakes – some have long-term consequences. MyMMO demon Cortyn gives you 3 important tips.
A few days ago, the mobile game “Warcraft Rumble” launched. It is surprisingly popular among players and impresses with tactical depth and plenty of options. However, newcomers can quickly make mistakes that often have long-term consequences.
I have 3 important tips to help you avoid long-term mistakes.
1. Never spend gold on experience
Leveling the minis in Warcraft Rumble is important. After all, you can only progress in the PvE campaign if your minis’ levels increase. It can be tempting to purchase offers in the shop. You will repeatedly be offered packages with experience points that you need to spend gold, not real money. An enticing offer – or?
No, it is not. Gold is by far the most important resource in Warcraft Rumble. While you will collect a lot of it during the campaign at the beginning of the game, your gold income decreases drastically later.
Experience points, on the other hand, can be earned for almost every activity in the game. Whether you complete missions, finish quests, engage in PvP, or visit dungeons – experience points are available in every area of the game and are easily obtainable.
The golden (haha) rule here is: Never spend gold on experience points. You will regret it later.
2. Join a guild
Guilds may not seem significant at first glance in Warcraft Rumble, as they are merely a loose association of friends and acquaintances. However, guilds have an important feature that makes them lucrative: the war chest.
When you play in a guild, you slowly fill the “war chest.” As soon as certain milestones are reached, you unlock special rewards. In the first season, this is the new mini “Sylvanas Windrunner,” which can only be obtained alternatively through a high PvP ranking or an investment of 15 euros in the shop.
In fact, large guilds have an advantage here, as more active players can fill the war chest faster and thus unlock the best rewards quickly. Even if you are a solo player at heart, you should join a guild and contribute to filling the war chest. This way, everyone benefits in the end, and you save gold, real money, or a lot of time to earn the latest mini of the season.
Join a guild to get new minis and other rewards for free.
3. Buy minis, even if you don’t use them
The various minis in Warcraft Rumble are the heart of the game, yet many will think: I only want a few of them; not all are interesting.
This may seem logical at first glance. The fewer minis you own, the more deterministic you can be in distributing experience points. Of course, because the fewer minis you own, the more often the desired minis get experience points, and the faster they reach a high level.
However, this is countered by your collection level. The higher your collection level is, the more XP you gain.
In general, it is advisable to buy minis as early as possible to have a large collection, which in turn increases your collection level and thus all experience points gained in the game.

As your collection level increases, your experience gain from almost all sources in the game grows. These include:
- Quests
- Scrolls
- XP boosts
Especially lucrative is the “New Units Bonus.” When you receive a mini that you do not already own, it receives a significant XP boost right away. At “Collection Level 17,” a new mini would thus not start at level 1, but already at level 8.
Your collection level grows in many ways. When your minis reach a new rarity, when you buy a brand new mini, or when your minis level up.
A high collection level massively increases your XP gain – definitely make use of it.
In the long run, you will want to have all minis anyway to play more versatile decks and also to excel in (unexpectedly fun) PvP.
