Currently, the closed beta for the new game mode Naval Forces is running for the military MMO War Thunder. In it, you can operate ships and boats. Here you can gain access to the beta.
What is Naval Forces? This is a new game mode for Gaijin’s military MMO War Thunder. Naval Forces aims to complement the battles in the air and on land with water.
What kind of vehicles are featured in Naval Forces? Unlike its competitor World of Warships, the battles in Naval Forces will be faster and more dynamic. Therefore, there will be no big ships like battleships or aircraft carriers. Heavy cruisers are also not available.
Instead, small gunboats will zip around the seas, and the maximum tonnage is reached with sleek destroyers and light cruisers.

What about aircraft? As familiar from War Thunder, you can also unlock planes in the battles of Naval Forces and then bomb the ships from the air. But watch out for the AAA!
How can I participate in the PC beta?
You can play Naval Forces in the closed beta until October 14, 2018. To do so, you typically need to buy an access pack for at least 20 Euros. However, there are cheaper options.
Giveaway for beta access: Gaijin Entertainment has provided us with 500 codes for the beta. With these you can also log in to the beta immediately. However, this is only for the PC version.
