In War Rage we are a Chinese general who would like to be the Emperor of China. To achieve this, we need to conquer cities and castles, form alliances, and deploy our troops wisely. The sandbox MMO from China emphasizes strategy and tactics.
War Rage will be a competitive MMO that puts us in the role of a Chinese general with ambitions of rulership. Our general is a tough guy, knocking down opponents by the dozen, but we cannot win a war on our own. We need troops for support, and we can upgrade and improve them like equipment during our campaign. In battle, we then send the soldiers to the front or command them to perform special maneuvers.

This will be sorely needed, as Sun Tzu once wrote in his work “The Art of War” that a wise commander should always use the terrain and battlefield to their advantage. Therefore, in War Rage, we should also follow Sun Tzu’s wise words and lure the enemy onto suspension bridges and then cut them. Or we hide our troops in the forest and set a trap for the enemy.
Later in the game, we should be able to conquer all of China, which can only be done in conjunction with other players and ever-changing alliances. Additionally, the developers at NetEase Games are already working on models for other factions, including Crusaders and Musketeers. Possibly, the entire world will become the stage for the game later.
