With War Rage, the Chinese studio NetEase is working on a mix of action and strategy, which has now received a new name for the western market: Conqueror’s Blade.
However, this does not change the gameplay. You still lead large armies into battle and can actively participate as a warrior. In principle, Conqueror’s Blade could be described as a mix of Total War and For Honor. There will be a playable demo at E3 that shows what these massive battles feel like.

Strategy, Action, and RPG
The scenario is set in the medieval period. You lead numerous nations into war. The battles take place on various maps, all requiring different tactics and approaches. In addition to sieges and large-scale battles where you must act tactically, there will also be RPG elements. Over time, your warriors will become more powerful.
No Release Date Yet – Planned for PC and PS4
Currently, it is still unclear when Conqueror’s Blade will be released in this country. However, NetEase could reveal more about that at E3. After all, the company is very serious about a release in the West, as the game now has its own name for the western audience. This means we can be very excited for E3 when we learn more about this highly interesting strategy-action-RPG.
Conqueror’s Blade is planned for PS4 in addition to PC.
