All PS4 and PS5 players with a PS Plus subscription can rejoice: Sony is giving away the game “We Were Here” to all users. However, the puzzle adventure game is only available for a short time.
Here’s how to get the game for free: You need an account for the PlayStation Network. Log in to the PS Store with that. There you can search for “We Were Here” and download the game for free.
However, keep in mind that you also need PS Plus to play the online co-op game.
Play We Were Here for free – Is it worth it?
What is We Were Here? It is a series of puzzle games. The first part of the series is now available for free. All other parts are expected to be playable from February 23 for PS4 and PS5.
In We Were Here, you play as a duo in an explorer team in Antarctica. There you encounter the large castle Castle Rock.
In the castle, you have to solve puzzles and escape. However, you and your friends are separated and have to communicate using walkie-talkies. Only by working effectively together can you solve the puzzles and escape.

The story told in We Were Here continues in the following parts. With the free game, you get a first glimpse into the game and the mechanics behind it.
