In Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC), the choice of weapon can sometimes determine success or failure. To ensure you have all weapons available, you can read our guide on how to obtain them: How to unlock all weapons in Battlefront 2 and here are the four best.
In Battlefront 2, you can choose from four classes besides the heroes. Each of these classes has four different weapons in their inventory. However, only the base weapon is selectable from the start.
- Kill 50 enemies with the respective class
- Kill 200 enemies with the respective class
- Kill 500 enemies with the respective class
In the game, you can also see what you need to unlock. To do this, select the “Customize” option for the respective class and then “Equip and Craft Weapon.” After selecting a weapon, you can see what requirements must be met next to the lock symbol.

Recommended Weapons – the best weapons for each class
It’s not always the hardest-to-obtain weapons that are particularly recommended.
- CR-2
- Available with the Assault class.
- Requires the 200 kills milestone.
- It does not have the best range and highest damage. However, it has a high fire rate and cools down quickly.
- It is particularly effective at short to medium range.
- TL-50
- Available with the Heavy class.
- Requires the 500 kills milestone.
- It has one of the best fire rates in the game.
- Has a special mode that stuns enemies.

- SE-44-C
- Available with the Officer class.
- Requires the 500 kills milestone.
- The stats may appear rather average at first glance. However, as it is fully automatic, it can deliver tremendous firepower in battle, making its perceived stats much higher.
- A280-CFE
- Available with the Specialist class.
- Requires the 200 kills milestone.
- An incredibly powerful weapon for the snipers among us.

Tips for achieving the milestones
Nature dictates that the best weapons are hidden behind the hardest milestone, and it can take time to reach it. You can’t – and don’t want to – sneak kills. But there are faster ways than others.
- The Galactic Assault mode.
- More enemies promise a higher kill rate. 20 vs. 20 has a higher enemy density than smaller matches.
- The Blast mode.
- On a smaller map, ten players engage in a Deathmatch. The team that first records 100 kills wins the match. Here too, you can quickly rack up many kills.
The better the skill, the faster the kill. But with these two modes, it is generally easier to achieve faster kills than in other modes. A few matches can quickly lead you to the first milestone!
