Ubisoft expands the Division universe with several new games. In addition to a free action shooter for PC, Xbox, and PS5, they also presented “The Division: Resurgence.” The game is set to release for iOS and Android and aims to attract players with real Division gameplay, as we know it from PC and console.
In the trailer, the developers showcase the contents from the notorious “Dark Zone.” The “Dark Zones” are a hallmark of the series. Here, you find the best loot, but you must battle other players for it. If you die, you lose everything you had found up to that point.
No surprise that the “Dark Zone” is incredibly tempting for many players, and the potential loss adds to the thrill.
What does the trailer show? In “Resurgence,” it’s back to New York. In the trailer, you can see the first skirmishes between several agent groups. At the start of the trailer, one of the agents sets a timer of 20 minutes on his watch. This could mean that you only have a limited time before you must leave the “Dark Zone” again. You also need to prepare for tactical skirmishes.
When does The Division: Resurgence release? An official release date has not been announced yet. However, Ubisoft has announced a first closed beta for Fall 2022, for which you can already sign up. The game is set to release for iOS and Android, but there are currently no detailed specifications such as Android version, required hardware, or information about potential controller support.
