CoD has presented its first trailer for Warzone Mobile and showed that they are responding to a fan request.
After Activision already released a teaser for Warzone Mobile on Friday, September 09, and announced further information for the big “CoD Next” event, it’s now here:
The first trailer for the mobile battle royale is here, and we already see the return of a popular map.
The return of Verdansk: After players have hoped for a return of Verdansk in April the new trailer for Warzone Mobile seems to confirm the comeback of the map now (cf.: minute 00:54). This way, Activision is responding to the community’s desire for the map to return.
Some time ago, Warzone players stated on Reddit that they wish for the map to return, suggesting that Caldera should be removed instead. Others hinted that they would become “mobile gamers” if Warzone Mobile features the old Verdansk.
- Frequent-Pea4949 via reddit: “Screw it. They should give us back Verdansk now. Caldera is so terrible.”
- noob_music_producer via reddit: “I will become a full-time mobile gamer if they bring the old Verdansk content and the crisp gunplay to mobile.”
- Wild_NK_cell via reddit: “Personally, I think they should ditch Caldera and just bring back Verdansk.”
YouTuber Tomographic even went a step further and released a song titled “I miss Verdansk”. The music video was released on June 04, 2022, and as of now (September 15), it has 727,000 views and over 44,000 likes.
