Legend Of Ymir is an upcoming MMORPG from the Korean developer WeMade. In the new cinematic trailer, they showcase in-game footage of the game.
The MMORPG is set to be released for PC and mobile and aims to impress with particularly realistic graphics. This is proven by the new trailer, which, according to the developers, features scenes directly from the game. WeMade utilizes Unreal Engine 5 and thereby creates characters that almost look like real people.
At the beginning of the trailer, we see characters walking through a landscape filled with mountains and forests, gathering atop a platform. In the next scene, there’s an icy landscape, and the first monsters appear: a mix of skeletons and zombies.
Then we see people riding horses through a sort of desert, beings with horns, and some battles. The action is underscored by epic-sounding music that adds drama to the trailer.
Legend Of Ymir as the “northern version” of MIR4
What kind of game is this? Legend Of Ymir is said to be a “next-gen” MMORPG that offers a story full of Norse mythology. You will encounter characters like Thor or Loki. There is currently very little information about the MMORPG – we know, however, that there are supposed to be huge PvP battles.
The developers are known for the MMORPG MIR4, which utilizes blockchain technology. In this game, you can mine ore that can be converted into cryptocurrency. This way, people earn real money from it and are more engaged in work than in play. It boasts high player numbers, but many of them are bots.
Blockchain technology is also expected to be utilized in Legend Of Ymir.
