The MMORPG Tower of Fantasy will receive an update on September 15. The trailer shows housing, new locations, and a new world boss.
Just a few days ago, the developers Hotta Studios announced the first major expansion of Tower of Fantasy, which is set to be released later in 2022. However, there will also be new content before that. Patch 1.5 is titled “Artificial Island.”
Tower of Fantasy gets a home system
The trailer reveals that housing will be introduced in Tower of Fantasy with this update. Each player will receive their own home, which looks like a cute little farm.
You can see various buildings that belong to your own area. Currently, it is only speculation what exactly you can do with it.
- Small metal animals are wandering around. It seems that you can take care of different animals in the housing. They could also act as your helpers.
- Apparently, elemental ore can be obtained through a conveyor belt that is integrated into a rock with crystals.
- You may be able to craft your own items.
- Additionally, there is the possibility to grow and harvest plants. You can then use them for cooking. You can find all recipes here.
New locations and a new world boss
What’s new? The trailer shows 3 simulacra, characters from the MMORPG, standing on a kind of helicopter. They look down at various new areas coming into the game with the update: Ring Arena, Puddled Lake, and Rusty Iron Camp are the names of the locations. We do not yet know what areas they will connect with.
Next, you can see how the simulacra are fighting a new world boss. He is called “Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon” and is a huge metal dragon that fights with ice and volt attacks.
The developers also announced a new banner for Patch 1.5. You will then be able to draw the SSR character Claudia.
