Lord of the Rings Online is an MMO that you can play via Steam. The new DLC The Corsairs of Umbar

When is the DLC being released? The Corsairs of Umbar is set to be released on November 1, 2023, and is already available for pre-order on the official website (via lotro.com). Please note that there are a total of three versions that you can pre-order:
- The Standard Edition for €36.99
- The Collector’s Edition for €72.99
- The Ultimate Fan Bundle for €118.99
The base game of Lord of the Rings Online is, however, free to play on Steam.
What to expect: As the trailer shows, the DLC brings you the new area Umbar and four different regions. One area shown resembles a southern-themed coastal city.
In addition, players can expect a new class, the Sailors. They are melee fighters who confidently battle through enemies with their sabers, perform their shanties, and unbalance their foes with cunning and skill. Among the Sailors, you can find the three specializations Shanty Singer, Duelist, and Wanderer.
Besides the new class, the DLC promises you 350 new quests and new enemies. These are briefly seen in the trailer and come, for example, in the form of lions or crocodiles.
Additionally, the game promises you a unique endgame experience
with rapid instances to secure your access to an exciting raid with the new maximum level of 150. What exactly this description from the developers entails will likely only become clear when the DLC is playable in November.
