This cinematic trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 puts you in the right mood for the upcoming release in September with massive star power.
In a reinterpretation of the Mortal Kombat advertisement from 1992, actor and former wrestler challenges humanity to fight.
The anticipation of players is definitely high, as clearly shown in the comments on Youtube:

Unleash your inner power
Starting as a library employee, Bautista whispers the words “Mortal Kombat” to a learning student with bright eyes. The student then follows him, and on his way through the city, more and more people join Bautista. Everywhere you hear roaring and everyone repeats the words “Mortal Kombat” with full enthusiasm. Bautista motivates with a speech about the power that lies within all of us and that is only discovered by a few chosen ones. He calls to unleash this power and face the fight that calls you.
Ultimately, Bautista convinces with his skills by painting the “Mortal Kombat” logo out of ice on the window of a café. The employee then yells so loudly “Mortal Kombat” that even the glass jug in her hand shatters.
If the battle-ready crowd hasn’t yet prepared you enough for the game, you get one last small insight into the game at the end.
