The Korean MMORPG Blade & Souls 2 has launched in Chapter 2 and received a major update. The trailer shows exciting battles.
What is Blade & Soul 2? Blade & Soul 2 is the direct sequel to the 2012 released MMORPG Blade & Soul, which was developed by the Korean studio NCSoft and also released in Europe in 2016.
NCSoft is also the developer studio for the MMORPG hope Throne and Liberty, which is set to be released in 2023.
Blade & Soul 2 has been playable on mobile devices and PC since 2021. The in-house Purple Client from NCSoft brings all fans together on one platform, enabling crossplay between PC, Android, and iOS.
What features does the game offer? The MMORPG has an open class system and focuses on PvP. It also features an open world with several continents, as well as PvE content for groups and solo players.
In general, the fights are at the center of the player experience in Blade & Soul 2, where your weapons determine the playstyle.
Major update brings new maps, modes
What kind of update is this? On October 26, 2022, Blade & Soul 2 Chapter 2 launched and received a major update. As reported by the online magazine mmoculture.com, this new update offers new maps and new game modes.
There are also supposed to be new features and systems. One of them allows players to change their weapon class. However, there is no completely new class.
What does the trailer show? The nearly three-minute trailer showcases plenty of action-packed battles, many of which feature numerous players in different areas.
