Tekken 8 presents new characters for its upcoming fighter roster almost weekly. The latest trailer showcases the psychotic cyborg Bryan Fury and his brutal punches and kicks.
Who is Bryan Fury? Bryan Fury made his debut in 1997 in Tekken 3 and was a resurrected cyborg fighter. In his former life, he was a police officer, and after his transformation, he became a sadistic warrior who seeks chaos and violence.
Compared to Tekken 7, his design has changed little. He is shirtless and covered in scars. He carries ammunition on his arm and wears spiked gloves. His leather pants have grenades on them.
How does Bryan Fury fight? In battle, Bryan primarily relies on brutal punches and kicks. His fighting style resembles that of a kickboxer. In the trailer, he is seen taunting his opponents in the middle of combos to gain a buff. He also seems to have enhanced fire attacks.
In his Ultimate, he unleashes countless blows on his opponent until he delivers a finishing blow with a powered strike. Here, his cyborg nature is displayed as he uses his eyes to perfectly land his hits.
Also in Tekken 8, Bryan Fury seems to enjoy violence again. In the midst of battle, he laughs at his opponents, and in his victory clip, he laughs while shooting a Gatling gun around. Then he throws the weapon towards the camera.
Bryan Fury is not the only fighter who debuted in Tekken 3 and returns in Tekken 8. Taekwondo master Hwoarang was also featured in a reveal trailer.
