Tekken 8 does not have a fixed release date yet, but is gradually showing trailers of the fighters in the game. Now the “classic” Hwoarang has been introduced.
Hwoarang has been around since Tekken 3 (1997) and has always been part of the fighter selection. The South Korean relies on the Korean martial art Taekwondo, which gives him a certain focus on his legwork, but he can use his fists if necessary.
The fighter has mostly been one of the characters in the fighting game Tekken that are difficult to master.
Once you have figured him out, however, it was easy to troll the unsuspecting buddies in the extended neighborhood. They had no chance.
With Hwoarang, you can impose your speed on the opponent and fight very variably due to the different stances. However, opponents with strong ranged control have the upper hand.
If you convinced your poor teammate in Tekken 3 to play the tiny guest character “Gon”, laughter was guaranteed. Or you had one less friend.
