Dysterra combines sci-fi with survival and invites you to fight for your survival. The title is now inviting you to the open beta on Steam.
What kind of game is this? Dysterra is a classic survival game and offers all the genre-typical gameplay features. You gather resources, craft items, and collect all kinds of resources and items.
But instead of using regular tools like an axe or a pickaxe, you use a futuristic tool on your arm with which you can mine resources. For this, you direct a kind of laser beam at your target and receive metal or something similar.
From the collected resources, you build a shelter, machines, items, and weapons.
When does the open beta start? The open beta of Dysterra has been running since August 30 and can be played until September 5 (via Steam).
If you want to participate in the fourth beta test of the survival title, you can simply download the game on the Steam page of Dysterra and start right after the download.
Survival game with plenty of shooter action
Dysterra offers shooters and sci-fi: In addition to classic survival gameplay, Dysterra is characterized primarily by shooter action and sci-fi aspects. For example, you can craft assault rifles, grenades, and other war tools fairly early in the game to not only secure your own survival but also to sabotage that of other players.
The longer you play, the better and rarer your resources become. You can then craft better armor and weapons until you become a kind of cyborg – heavily armed and unstoppable.
Now not only the NPC robots scattered across the map must beware of you, which are an excellent source of metal, but also other players who do not possess advanced war machines like you.
However, the same applies to you, so not only numerous NPC robots are your daily adversaries in Dysterra, but also heavily armed players in sci-fi gear. This can end badly quickly. Thus, the survival title offers plenty of PvP battles and base raids to keep shooter fans sufficiently occupied.
