A new loot shooter is set to debut on Steam with Marauder. The first trailer makes a big impact and provides a brief glimpse into the unconventional setting.
What kind of game is this? Marauder comes from the indie studio Small Impacts Games and is being supported by Team17, who previously released the anti-Battlefield shooter Hell Let Loose. It is also a first-person shooter. An exact release date is not yet known, but the shooter will definitely be available on Steam and through Game Preview in the PC Game Pass. No other platforms have been announced.
Marauder offers multiplayer but can also be played against AI opponents. You can also team up with friends and play co-op. The goal: hijack, loot, escape. If you manage to leave the ship alive, you may take the equipment you found into the next round.
The setting is an alternate reality at the end of the 1990s and also features steampunk elements.
