With Redout 2 comes a futuristic racing game for PS4, PS5, and Steam at the end of May. The latest gameplay trailer reveals the exact release date and reminds us of the Nintendo classic with Captain Falcon: F-Zero.
What is Redout 2 anyway? It is, like its predecessor Redout 1, a spiritual successor to the classic arcade racing games. It is a futuristic racer with singleplayer and online PvP. At launch, there will be 36 different tracks. There are various modes like Last Man Standing and boss races.
The gameplay strongly resembles classics like F-Zero, but offers contemporary and quite sleek graphics. The game is developed by the studio 34BigThings srl, also known for the Wipeout games.
When is Redout 2 coming out? The sci-fi racer is set to release on May 26 for Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
You can download the free demo of Redout 1, among other places on Steam and get an impression of the predecessor. The game even offers VR support. However, this has not yet been confirmed for the second part.
