With Embers Adrift, a new MMORPG is currently in development that focuses entirely on PvE. You are supposed to team up with friends and experience adventures that you would tell around a campfire. PvP is currently hard to find in the game.
What kind of game is this? Embers Adrift will be a sandbox MMORPG set in a medieval world.
- The game does away with classes and lets you choose your weapons and abilities yourself.
- There will be no major quest hubs, and boring farming tasks will be handled by the NPCs themselves. All quests in the game are supposed to tell a story.
- In Embers Adrift, group play is supposed to be important. There will be dungeons, raids, and bosses in the open world. Those who want to go alone can do so, but will face some challenges.
- As a sandbox MMORPG, crafting is also supposed to play an important role.
- PvP in the form of a duel function is not excluded, but it is not part of the beta.
