The Halloween event of Overwatch 2 comes with a new co-op mission and numerous skins that Blizzard presents to you in the trailer.
What kind of event is this? Overwatch 2 celebrates the spooky season with the in-game event “Halloween Terror”. The event starts on October 25 and runs until November 9, 2022.
What new content is there? This year’s Halloween event from Overwatch 2 brings a new limited-time co-op mission called “Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride”. In this mission, you will confront the Bride of the scary Dr. Junkenstein, who seeks to avenge her creator’s death.
Additionally, there will be new challenges that allow you to unlock some content. This content includes:
- Name Card: Nightfall Over Adlersbrunn
- Weapon Charm: Jack-o’-Lantern
- Battle Pass XP
Moreover, Dr. Junkenstein will celebrate his return and bring back the 4-player co-op mode “Junkenstein’s Revenge”.
New skins for Kiriko and Junker Queen
What does the trailer show? The trailer features numerous heroes and their respective Halloween skins. We have marked four of the costumes shown in the trailer with a timestamp. Among them are the two new skins for Kiriko and Junker Queen, as well as the bride skin for Sombra matching the new mode and the Werewolf skin for Winston, which will be available during the event on Twitch.

Free content via Twitch Drops: If you link your Battle.net account with your Twitch account and then watch Overwatch 2 on Twitch, you can receive two free items.
After watching streamers with active drops for 2 hours, you will receive the “Werewolf Winston Spray” and after 4 hours the legendary skin “Werewolf Winston”, which gives the tank a spooky appearance.
