On June 16, the big presentation of the upcoming content in Overwatch 2 took place. Among other things, the release year for the PvE mode was revealed, and starting today you can sign up for the next beta to try out the new hero Junker Queen from the action-packed cinematic.
When does the PvE mode come to Overwatch 2? The PvE mode is set to be released in 2023. The story is supposed to connect to the well-known narrative from Overwatch.
Registration for the second beta: The second beta starts on June 28, 2022, for which you can already register on the homepage. This time, in addition to PC players, PlayStation and Xbox players can also participate.
What is shown in the cinematic? The story revolves around the new hero Junker Queen. As a little girl, she was banished with her family from her hometown Junkertown. In the video, you can see how she, now an adult woman, takes her sweet revenge. She challenges every warrior in the arena until she gets to the Junker King, who is responsible for her family’s expulsion. In the action-packed cinematic, you can see how she defeats every warrior, earns the respect of the entire population of Junkertown, and becomes Junker Queen.
