Joe & Mac Caveman Ninja already ran as a co-op game back then and was very popular. However, it was always considered technically flawed – the difficulty largely stemmed from the fact that the collision detection was not very accurate.
Despite this, the two prehistoric heroes won the hearts of many players, even though the jump and run was unfair and brutally difficult at many corners.
