The developers of Nightingale have introduced the world of the 2023 upcoming survival game in a new video, explaining how the idea behind the setting came to be.
What do the developers say? In the new video, the developers explain that the inspiration for Nightingale came from the novel “Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell”, which is about the two titular wizards and magic.
They also say that they fell in love with the Victorian era, which subsequently influenced the design of the world. This world, in turn, is part of an alternative reality where humans study and practice magic.
Additionally, the developers explain what the backstory of the survival game is and what the Realmwalkers are.
