VEILED EXPERTS is a team-based third-person shooter that combines action and strategy. The game presents itself in the trailer with K-Hip-Hop music and fast-paced gameplay.
What kind of game is this? VEILED EXPERTS is developed by NEXON Games from Korea and is set to offer unique gameplay.
In the game, you are agents sent on global missions to either destroy specific VOID microchips or update them on behalf of various governments and corporations.
You have 9 agents to choose from:
- Tyrone specializes in rescuing teammates. He can revive allies faster, and they return to full health. His second ability allows him to regenerate health over time, take less damage, and run faster. With his ultimate, he improves recoil control.
- Dmitry can regenerate armor for teammates or scan for enemies. Additionally, he receives the M24 sniper rifle at the start of round 4. With his ultimate, he temporarily increases movement speed.
- Nicki is a gambling addict and received a cybernetic heart after an injury. She can self-revive when incapacitated and then regenerates her hit points. With her ultimate, she can spend 50 coins to either lose them or win a large amount.
- Jack starts round 1 with a silenced pistol, and his torso shots cause an intense stun. When a teammate dies, he restores his armor. If he is the last survivor on his team, the positions of all enemies are revealed, his health is restored, and the maximum armor durability is increased. With his ultimate, he can instantly reload his pistol with 7 bullets.
- Luna regenerates her hit points and increases movement speed when her health is 30% or less. With her ultimate, she can also restore her health.
- Young Sik is a genius hacker. At the beginning of round 2, he gets a scanning bow that automatically marks enemies and reveals their names. He can also carry more grenades, hack ziplines, and defuse or plant the PACKAGE faster than others. The placement area of a PACKAGE can also be hacked. Once enemies come into contact with it, a scan grenade activates. His ultimate is an enemy scan.
- Lily Rose can use her primary weapon while incapacitated, and the frag grenades in her inventory explode when she dies. She receives a discount on firearms and ammunition in the market. Her ultimate allows her to receive even more discounts on weapons.
- Simon is focused on melee combat. With his basic ability, he can steal coins from a corpse and restore his hit points. Additionally, he receives an M4 Super 90 in round 2 and inflicts high melee damage. He regenerates health when he incapacitates an enemy with a shotgun. With his ultimate, he can also restore a lot of hit points.
- Soy is an engineer. She has 3 different support modes that allow her to assist team members or scan for enemies. She can switch between these with her ultimate.
VEILED EXPERTS features 4 maps with multiple locations and missions. There is no shortage of weapons and items.
Is there a beta? Yes, the worldwide beta starts on June 13 and ends on June 26. However, you can sign up for the beta now on Steam and with a bit of luck, you will get early access. Then you can play a full 4 days before other players.
