The German survival MMO Coreborn will launch into Early Access on Steam in just a few weeks. In a new trailer, the developers Blankhans give a preview of their colorful fantasy world.
What is Coreborn? Coreborn is the ambitious project of the German studio Blankhans: In the detailed interview, the devs revealed to us that they see its importance for survival MMOs as comparable to WoW’s for MMORPGs.
Coreborn combines survival elements reminiscent of the Viking hit Valheim, with a building system akin to ARK and action-packed combat like Conan Exiles. MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus has already tested the game:
Coreborn goes into Early Access
When does it start? As Blankhans announces, Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore is set to start in Early Access on July 18th. On Steam, you can already add the survival MMO to your wishlist and receive a notification when it releases.
The developers promise frequent updates and new features during the EA phase. Additionally, there is a Discord server, where you can connect with players from around the world. This is meant to involve the community in the development and shape the gaming experience.
Players will be able to craft their own weapons and armor, build cities together, and specialize in different professions and skills during Early Access.
Trailer makes you eager for more
This is the world of Coreborn: To announce the release, there is also a new trailer that should make you eager to dive into the fantasy world of Tormentosia. In the video, you can see the joyful hustle and bustle in the city of Coreheim: merchants haggle over their goods, and all sorts of interesting creatures mingle among the human inhabitants.
Additionally, you will see various areas of the world, ranging from green meadows and sunny fields to frosty ice landscapes. The trailer also shows gameplay elements such as combat against monsters, establishing a base, and defending it afterward.
