WorldShards is an upcoming sandbox MMORPG on Steam, showcasing housing and PvE battles in the new trailer.
What kind of game is this? WorldShards (PC) is a sandbox MMORPG developed by the indie studio Lowkick Games and will be released on PC via Steam.
The MMORPG takes place in the colorful fantasy world of Murrlandia, which is ruled by cats. However, this world has been destroyed, and it is now up to you, a human, to help in the reconstruction and fight against evil invaders.
During your journey through Murrlandia, you will explore various procedurally generated floating islands that aim to continuously expand the world of WorldShards.
What gameplay aspects will there be? WorldShards does away with a class and level system compared to other MMORPGs, equipping you instead with various weapons.
For example, you can carry an axe, a hammer, or a sword. There are also claws that you can attach to your hands and use to dive into battle like Wolverine.
In addition, there will be housing in WorldShards. You will have your own island where you can build your own home as well as workbenches. On this island, it is just you, but you have the option to invite your friends over.
Moreover, there will be cities and a guild island that each member of your guild can access. In the cities, it should also be possible to trade.
