The Sci-Fi-MMORPG Ares: Rise of Guardians (PC, Mobile) is currently in development. In the trailer, the developers showcase the 4 starter classes of the game.
Character by character, they appear on screen, each class is presented in both male and female variants. At first glance, they look like actors, as the graphics are very detailed and realistic.
After the characters have shown themselves in normal clothing, they equip weapons and armor.
These 4 classes exist:
- Warlord: He carries a massive huge weapon and his body is entirely surrounded by armor. There is a built-in jetpack on his back.
- Hunter: Fights with 2 blades and his body is wrapped in silver armor with red details.
- Engineer: We see the female variant of this class. She wears red horns on her head and extends her arms on both sides with huge metallic fists.
- Warlock: In the female version, she looks like an ice princess wielding a spear.
At the end of the video, we get a brief glimpse of the game world. We see a character from behind, looking out over a landscape of debris under the rising moon. Again, the graphics are incredibly high resolution and detailed.
What kind of game is this? Ares: Rise of Guardians is an upcoming MMORPG set in a sci-fi environment. There is not much information about the gameplay yet. In the previous trailer, there was a fight against huge robots. Notably, one of the characters fights with 2 firearms. This suggests that there will be more classes after the release.
The title is being developed by Second Dive and published by the Korean publisher Kakao Games. The latter was recently confirmed as the publisher for the upcoming MMORPG ArcheAge 2. Previously, they were responsible for Black Desert Online but lost the rights. Elyon also belongs to Kakao Games, but it will go permanently offline at the end of the year.
When will the MMORPG be released? There is currently no date for the release. We only know that Ares: Rise of Guardians will be available for PC and mobile devices.
