Project LLL is an upcoming MMO shooter that showcases 9 minutes of shooter action against piloted battle robots in its latest gameplay trailer.
What game is it? The gameplay trailer shows an upcoming MMO shooter currently being developed by NCSoft titled ‘Project LLL’, which is set to be released in 2024 on PC and consoles.
The South Korean development studio NCSoft is primarily known for MMORPGs such as Guild Wars 2 and Blade & Soul. Additionally, the studio is working on the highly anticipated MMORPG Throne and Liberty, which is expected to be released worldwide in 2023.
What is the game about? The shooter takes place in a world where multiple different epochs coexist in a single timeline (via YouTube):

- A realm from the 10th century
- Future from the 23rd century
In general, the shooter aims to have humans from different eras encounter mutants, giant battle robots, and even demons in a single setting.
Moreover, the developers reveal that Project LLL is based on two “What if” questions.
- If technology were to evolve unrestricted, would the meaning of being human change?
- What if multiple groups of people with very different technologies were to meet?
The developers refer to themselves as shooter fans and state that they want to combine shooters with their passion for MMORPGs, merging the two genres.

What does the trailer show? The new trailer features a 9-minute presentation of the gameplay of the shooter.
At the beginning, we see the player stealthily moving through a dark building where they silently eliminate enemies with a silenced rifle and fight their way outside through a train tunnel.
Outside the building, the player then engages in a heated battle with numerous opponents before a piloted battle robot disrupts the war zone.
Subsequently, the player and their allies fend off in an action-packed fight, managing to hijack the enemy mech and use it in combat.
