A new game with a mix of MOBA and “Hack and Slash” components has completed its beta launch and looks really good. We will show you Warlanders in more detail and introduce you to the world of battles.
What is Warlanders? The game “Warlanders” is a mix of a MOBA and a touch of Hack and Slash and is available as Free2Play. In this game, you join a battle with your squad of knights or mages and fight for victory. In doing so, you always face opponents from around the world online.
We had already reported about Warlander in advance, as we were able to catch a glimpse of it at gamescom. Now that the beta has started, you can also participate and unleash your medieval side.
Warlander strongly resembles Happy Wars
Colorful battles and familiar mechanics: Anyone who has seen the trailer for Warlander immediately realizes that effects are plentiful here. Fire animations, spells, abilities, and more let you immerse yourself in a vibrant battlefield.
Additionally, some mechanics resemble those from Happy Wars. The multiplayer game on Xbox, just like Warlander, has towers that you need to capture. Furthermore, players can use their craftsmanship to build cannons and other defensive equipment, and then utilize them in battle. If you know and enjoyed Happy Wars, Warlander might be something for you.
What does the community say about the trailer? The community is excited about the official release of the game. They say:

Despite this, there is no negative feedback to be heard. Many players hope that Warlanders will also make it to consoles.
Will the game also come to consoles? Warlanders is currently in its open beta on Steam, which has been rolled out since September 12. After the beta phase, the developer aims to expand the game to other platforms such as Xbox and PlayStation and even include a crossplay component. However, a date for the console release is not yet known.
