The new coop game Redfall is set to be released in 2023. In a new trailer, developer Bethesda gives a deeper insight into the features of the game.
Redfall is gameplay-wise oriented towards coop shooters like Left4Dead, but combines this with an open world and the popular concept of looting and leveling. In the eponymous city of Redfall, you will fight vampires with your team.
For this, you will play in coop with up to 4 players and have a choice of 4 heroes, who are shown in more detail in the trailer:
- Jacob Boyer – A sniper who can gather reconnaissance with his raven
- Remi de la Rosa – A mechanic with a robot companion
- Devinder Crousley – A “cryptid hunter” who can stun vampires with traps
- Layla Ellison – A student with magical powers
The trailer also shows a brief glimpse into a skill tree and various weapons with which you can assemble your own loadout. By the way, this is exactly a point that MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus questions:
