With Marauders, a new extraction shooter is coming to Steam, following in the footsteps of Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown. However, this takes place in space, and you can even own your own fleet. The latest trailer has now announced the beta.
Marauders takes the new genre of extraction shooters on a journey into the depths of the universe.
Instead of looting stores and factories like in Escape from Tarkov, you will scour the cosmos in Marauders for abandoned wrecks, attack space stations, and engage in battles against other spaceships.
The new trailer announces the closed beta – it runs from July 20 to July 25. To participate, you need to pre-order the shooter with a dieselpunk setting.
With your loot, you will upgrade your character and your frigate. Because you’ll need to fend off other players who are just as greedy for loot. If you get taken out, you’ll lose a lot of progress.
Moreover, you won’t just fight in space – you can shoot transport capsules at enemy ships and infiltrate them.
