The MMORPG Neverwinter is getting the new expansion “Dragonslayer” in June. It will be released for PC and consoles. In this expansion, you will enter dragon hoards and hunt down chromatic dragons from the Dungeons & Dragons universe. The trailer gives a first glimpse.
What exactly is included in the expansion? The contents of the expansion have been inspired by Fizbans Treasury of Dragons, the latest guide to dragons in D&D.
The focus is on the new dragon hunting system, which will turn players into true dragon slayers. There are various opponents that differ in age categories and type. The test Temple of Tiamat will also be revised and receive new challenges and difficulty levels.
Previously, there was the Dragonborn Vale expansion, which brought new areas and whose story Dragonslayer directly connects to.
When will the new expansion be released? A specific date has not yet been shared, but it is expected to come out in June 2022. Dragonslayer is completely free and can also be accessed by Free2Play players.
