Gangs of Sherwood is a new co-op game with action combat set in the world of Robin Hood. You plunder through a version of Sherwood Forest that mixes fantasy elements with technology from World War I.
From time to time, developers draw on the historical source of the famous Robin Hood and create their own version of the good robber, the avenger of the poor.
With “Gangs of Sherwood,” a co-op game is coming in 2023 that will probably try one of the most interesting settings around Robin Hood: The world is in a medieval phase, but the technology is roughly at the level of World War I. Additionally, there are fantasy elements.
The title is coming to Steam and the consoles of PlayStation and Xbox.
As a 4-person gang, you loot through the story and fight with one of four characters through the missions and levels – either as Robin, Marian, Brother Tuck, or Little John.
Each brings their own combat style, and through good deeds, you improve your skill and expand your abilities through the RPG systems in the game.
The Sheriff of Nottingham is of course not far away and is also pleased with the setting. For he is the ruler of a flying castle.
