Netflix has uploaded a new trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revolution, and it promises a lot of action as it features He-Man against Scare Glow.
Masters of the Universe: Revolution is a Netflix series set to premiere on the streaming site in 2024. The animated series continues the story of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which has been available on Netflix since 2021 with two seasons.
In the new series, He-Man’s arch-nemesis Skeletor is more powerful than ever after being assimilated by Horde member Motherboard. The two enemies must face a fierce battle.
Fans hope for He-Man as the protagonist
The short trailer shows a battle between He-Man and Scare Glow. Even when his father briefly wants to help him, he quickly realizes that his son does not need assistance in this fight. Indeed, after a few exchanges and setbacks, He-Man emerges victorious from the battle.
As the reactions in the comments via Youtube show, many fans hope to finally see the hero as the protagonist. They felt he was underrepresented in the predecessor, Masters of the Universe: Revelation:

I am so glad to see He-Man back in action. Please don’t make him a secondary character again. We want him as our hero.

I suspect these are the 95% screen time that He-Man gets in this season.

It was great getting to know all the other characters in Revelation, but it would be even better to see He-Man in more action.
While many voices express concern about seeing little of their hero again, most agree that the series’ animation is very well done. And even though the male hero was not often seen in the 2021 series, many comments describe it as good and hope for similarly high quality this time.
