Minecraft released a major update “The Wild.” This includes many improvements, new creatures, and possibilities. The trailer shows you all the content of the patch in cozy campfire mood.
What are the new features in Minecraft? The patch 1.19 was released on June 7, 2022, and is available on both Java and Bedrock Editions.
The update brings two new biomes:
- The Deep Dark: Here you will find fallen civilizations, new blocks, and a dangerous enemy “Warden.” This one reacts to vibrations and can sense you from a distance.
- Mangrove Swamps: This is a biome with large trees that bring you a new type of wood; you will also find mud there, which you can process into mud bricks. You can also produce mud by combining dirt blocks with water.
In The Wild, it is possible to equip boats with chests. Finally, no more cluttered inventory while exploring!
Additionally, there are new creatures:
- Frogs: The new cute and slimy creatures can be found in three different versions. These depend on the temperature of the respective biome. As baby frogs, there are tadpoles; this is the first animal species in Minecraft that has two distinctly different life stages.
- Allay: This is a helpful companion that travels with you in Minecraft. It can prove to be very useful, as you can give it an item and it sets off in search of items of the same type. But that’s not all: if you forget to pick something up, your little helper will do that for you.
