Fractal Design is known for cases for gaming PCs. Now they have presented a new case called “North”. This should appeal to all gamers looking for a simple yet elegant design for their computer.
If you are buying or assembling a gaming PC, then in addition to powerful hardware the case for your system is also important. Because the case protects your valuable hardware from damage and supports proper ventilation inside.
The manufacturer Fractal Design has now introduced a new case named “North”. Fractal Design is from Sweden and specializes in PC components.
“North” focuses on a simple wood design
What kind of case is it? Fractal’s new case features a special design. The manufacturer relies on mesh ventilation at the front. This front is made of real walnut or oak wood panels. This is rather rare for computer cases.
The case is also almost completely modular, so you should be able to access pretty much any component when building your PC. Other details about the case include:
- The case supports radiators up to 240 mm on the top and 360 mm on the front
- There is enough space for a GPU up to 355 mm with installed front fans or up to 300 mm with a front radiator
- Additionally, there are 7 expansion slots for further customization in the case.
- Both ATX, mATX, and ITX motherboards should fit in the case.
What does the case cost? On Amazon, the “North” is already listed for 188.68 euros, but according to Amazon it is currently “out of stock.” However, this should change in the coming weeks. You can already add the case to your wishlist if you plan to buy it later:
