In February 2022, the new expansion for Guild Wars 2 will be released. With End of Dragons, we will venture to the continent of Cantha. There, 4 new areas are to be released, one of which is now shown in the trailer.
What kind of area is this? The Echo Forest was a rather desolate area in Guild Wars 1, as the death cry of the Assassin Shiro had petrified it. However, with the end of the campaign, we freed the forest from its curse, allowing it to flourish and thrive again in Guild Wars 2. This is precisely what the new video shows.
Previously, the developers had introduced the first area that you can enter in the new expansion: the Island of Shing Jea.
