Sony has announced a successor to Firewall Zero Hour, and fans of the shooter praise the first part as the best PS VR1 game.
When Sony introduced Firewall Ultra in the reveal trailer for PS5 and PS VR2 on September 6th, some fans focused on the quality of the predecessor. They praised Firewall Zero Hour and hope for a similarly positive gaming experience with Firewall Ultra.
What is Firewall Zero Hour? It is a tactical shooter on PS4 that utilizes Sony’s PS VR1 technology. In addition to several PvE modes, the VR shooter also features PvP matches where 4v4 gameplay takes place.
The characters you choose have different abilities that assist you during missions. Moreover, you determine which weapons and gadgets you take into battle.
The concept of Firewall Zero Hour is reminiscent of titles like Rainbow Six: Siege, a shooter that still excels today due to its gameplay.
The second generation of VR technology for PlayStation is already known: PS VR2 is said to fully utilize the PS5 hardware.
Players Praise Firewall Zero Hour
What do players say about Firewall Zero Hour? The tactical shooter receives a lot of praise and is dubbed “the best game for PS VR1.” Even under the new trailer for the successor, there is much praise for Zero Hour.

Firewall Ultra Combines Old Success Formula with New Technology
What do we know about the successor? The successor to Firewall Zero Hour is called Firewall Ultra. The shooter will utilize the new PS VR2 technology and will be exclusively available for PS5. A release date is currently unknown.
Like its predecessor, Firewall Ultra will also feature PvP multiplayer as well as PvE multiplayer missions.
To play Firewall Ultra, in addition to a PS5 and PS VR2, a PS Plus membership is also required to access the online services. Additionally, Sony states in the PS Store that PS VR2 is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
