The focus of the MMO is on cozy aspects such as housing, fishing, crafting, cooking, exploring, maintaining relationships, and interacting with the community. For example, you can build your own farm, grow plants there, own a house, and furnish it alone or with friends.
The MMO completely forgoes PvP but offers optional battles with the creatures in the environment.
Palia is supposed to be Free2Play and completely avoid Pay2Win items in the shop.
