With Off The Grid, Gunzilla Games has announced a new game for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series in the teaser. It is supposed to be a “Battle Royale 2.0” with a story focus.
What is Off The Grid? According to the official announcement by Gunzilla Games, Off The Grid will be a AAA shooter for PC, Xbox Series, and PS5, played from a third-person perspective.
The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and features a futuristic, cyberpunk-like setting. A total of 150 players will compete against each other on a map.
Involved is District 9 director Neill Blomkamp, who takes on the role of “Chief Visionary Officer” and is thus responsible for the fundamental direction of the game. Additionally, there are several other industry veterans involved who also worked on Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed.
